The KPC4T model is a triple layer, Kevlar constructed Pitot cover specifically designed to offer the ultimate in Pitot probe and probe tip protection. The KPC4T cover has an integrated probe tip protector insert to guard the probe tip from potential damage. The KPC4T is designed for aircraft utilizing the Collins Aerospace Smart Pitot Probe (0857CV, 0857DB, 0857DC1, or other probe models associated with the Collins Aerospace 0857 family of smart probes). The KPC4 is a non-melting cover, and it has Sesame's proprietary waterproofing lamina installed. The lamina acts as a one-way gate for water and moisture; allowing condensation or moisture to escape but will not allow water to enter the cover from the outside.
